Wifi maximizer app for android description: Wifi maximizer helps you choose the best location for your wifi router in this way ensuring you have the maximum coverage from your wifi router.
To reach this objective wifi maximizer measures and compares the average wifi signal for different possible locations of the router.
Please note: the app is intended for people who are slightly technically minded.
Important: when selecting those possible locations it is your responsibility to ensure the place is safe and suitable for a router to be placed there.
The app starts with a page displaying on a graph the wifi networks available.
When you choose click to begin a new page will appear where you can select which wifi you want to improve.
Press next and the app will display a page where you can define the zones where you want to improve the wifi coverage (by example study living room etc.
).
In the premium version you will also be able to define the priority of each zone as low medium or high.
By example the study might have the high priority as it could be the place where you do your work the living room might be medium priority and so on.
Select one zone and press next again and you will be directed to another page where you can define the locations where the router could be placed (for example hallway kitchen etc.
).
Select one location and press next again and the measurements page is displayed.
After you press start the app will start saving the values of the signal in a local database.
You can press pause to temporary stop the measurements then you can move to a different zone and start measuring again or you can physically move the router to another location and restart measuring.
On pressing stop the app will display a table with the average signal measured for each zone location.
